Classroom Training
Selecting face-to-face classroom training as the training delivery method provides learners with a group-training environment in a single classroom location. Under the direction of an instructor/facilitator, the classroom provides a social, interactive and structured learning environment.
Benefits:
- Structured learning environment
- Live interaction with instructor and fellow learners promotes group learning and accountability
- Instructor can adjust training delivery to meet varied student needs
- Provides opportunity to practice new skills with other people and obtain immediate feedback and reinforcement of learning
- Interactive, effective and engaging for various learning styles
Instructor-led classroom training is typically selected when:
- Demonstrated competence (or masterful performance) is required
- Group interaction is important to the learning process
- Unpredictable situations or outcomes can occur
- Resources are available for classroom training (time, travel, facility, equipment, instructors)
