Performance Support Tools

Often referred to as “Just-in-Time” training, performance support tools give learners access to critical, specific and concise information quickly and efficiently to help them successfully accomplish a task. For example, checklists, step-by-step procedures, diagrams, flowcharts and quick references can be performance support tools. Performance support tools or job aids are often used in combination with interactive training sessions (either web or classroom) to help the transfer of skills from the training environment to on-the-job.
